the program work?

In most cases, you simply present your Torch
Run members’ card to enjoy the savings. In some cases, you will find
printer-friendly savings certificate that you can present with your card to
obtain discounts.
Why
will businesses give me discounts?

Participating retailers welcome Torch
Run members to build their profits. Because Law Enforcement Torch is
provided via the Internet exclusively to members, employee groups and
association members, businesses save all the cost of advertising, direct mail
and postage. They pass those savings directly to Law Enforcement Torch
members.

How can I get help
solving a problem with a retailer?
-
Should you ever encounter a problem with a participating
retailer, please contact us by e- mail or phone. With thousands of retailers
across Canada, we are constantly adding new merchants in person, via mail
and by phone. Many retailers experience high employee turnover and are
constantly training their employees. If you encounter an employee that is not
aware of the Law Enforcement Torch program or that fails to honor the discount,
we want to hear from you as soon as possible. In most cases, we can educate the
new employee and resolve the problem before another member encounters the same
problem. If you contact us by e-mail, we will reply and let you know what
resolution was reached.
How
do I know when new local businesses or special offers are added near me?

When you register your Law Enforcement Torch membership card,
you will enter your Postal code. Thereafter, you will receive a periodic e-mail
listing all the hot deals near your home. You may change the Postal code in
your personal profile to have the e-mail bulletins feature another area. The
hottest deals are posted daily and offered while supplies last. We recommand
that you check the site daily.
Can
I recommend other businesses to join the Law Enforcement Torch Discount
program?

Yes, please do! Just fill out the
Recommend a Retailer form
and we will contact them concerning our "Lifestyles"
savings program.
How
can I enter your sweepstakes promotion and what if I win?

You may enter the contest on-line or by mail whichever you prefer. Prize
winners will be notified by telephone, in writing or by email within 10

How do I search for discounts?
There are two ways to search for discounts: Search By Postal/Zip Code
and Search by Category

All Categories is the fastest way to view all the savings
made available to you. Select All Categories from the Left Menu. Once selected
you are presented with two choices: Search By Location and Search By Postal/Sip
Code. To Search By Location, simply select the Country and Province/State from
the first box to locate savings of all offers in your desired location. To
Search By Postal/Zip Code, simply enter your Postal/Zip code to locate savings
nearest you.

Search by Category: Select your desired Category from the
Left Menu. Once selected you are presented with two choices (Search By Location
and Search By Postal/Sip Code). To Search By Location, simply select the
Country and Province/State from the first box to locate savings of the
category’s offers in your desired location. To Search By Postal/Zip Code,
simply enter your Postal/Zip code to locate savings of your category.
Logged in members can click a merchant's name to view savings redemption
instructions, print online savings certificates (if required), and find
information about the business. Also, once you are logged in, you may click the
“Local Values” link next to your name to locate savings nearest you.
How do I change the order of the results of
my search?
How do I find all businesses in a specific category
(dining, golf, etc.) and location?
Choose a "Category" from the side menu and
select your desired Province. This will display all of the participating
merchants within that Category. Conveniently located at the top of most
category pages is the opportunity to refine your search by City, Postal/Zip
Code and Facilityname to locate savings nearest you

How do I activate
my card?
To activate your card, “Click” the Register Card link from the menu bar and
enter the card number located on the front of the card. As this is the first
time to the site, you will need to create a user profile.
My card was lost or stolen. How can I
replace it?
You may order a replacement card for $6.95 to cover materials, processing and
postage by talking to a Member Services Representative. Contact

How do I log
in?
Simply “Click” the Login link from the menu bar and enter your Card Number and
Password. Should you encounter a problem, please do not hesitate to contact us

How do I log
out?
Simply “Click” the Logout link and from there, close the browser window when
you are finished. As a security feature you will be logged out automatically if
your computer is idle (or not used) for more than 20 minutes. If you use or are
using a public computer, always close the browser when you are finished.
Can I update my
e-mail and mailing address? How?
Yes and please do so often! After logging in, click the Profile link located
on the header bar and your profile will appear. Keeping your e-mail and mailing
address updated is very important because all local searches and listing of
discounts in e-mail updates are based upon your Postal Code. All member
services, such as notifications, forgotten password retrievals and assistance
are provided via e-mail as well.
I
forgot my password! What should I do?
No problem! We can send it to the email address in your profile. Please
contact us if your have recently changed your email address and know
that the address you use now does not match the address in your member

browsers and computers work with Law Enforcement Torch?
Law Enforcement Torch is best viewed using the latest version of
Microsoft Internet Explorer or
Mozilla Firefox which can be downloaded and installed for
free. Law Enforcement Torch is designed to operate on Internet capable PC
and MAC computers.
